20th Anniversary Headwaters Hoedown begins Sunday

ALAMOSA — The Rio Grande Headwaters Land Trust (RiGHT) invites the whole community to our 20th Anniversary Headwaters Hoedown, on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 12 to 5 p.m. The Hoedown will be held at the beautiful Cross Arrow Ranch in Conejos County about 30 minutes south of Alamosa. Get your tickets online at www.riograndelandtrust.org or on our “Headwaters Hoedown” Facebook event page. Tickets are $40 and will also be available at the event. Kids 16 and under are free.

Hosted by the ranch owners, the Willett Family, the Cross Arrow Ranch sits on the confluence of the Rio Grande and Conejos Rivers and provides stunning views of the Sangres and San Luis Hills. This is a chance for our friends and supporters to enjoy the beauty of this private ranch – another beautiful property that has been conserved with RiGHT.

This historic ranch will provide a lovely place to gather, listen, and dance to the fabulous music of local favorites Don Richmond and the Rifters.  Enjoy local food from SLV producers prepared by Pepita’s Catering, with a selection of locally brewed (and grown) beers from the Colorado Farm Brewery. Our ever-popular silent auction will offer fabulous items from local artists, businesses, and supporters, including some very special fishing trips on private waters to dinners and theater tickets to ski lift tickets – there is sure to be something for everyone.

For more information and directions to the Cross Arrow Ranch, please visit our website at www.riograndelandtrust.org or call us at our Del Norte office at 719-657-0800.  We look forward to celebrating with you.
