MONTE VISTA — The Monte Vista Community Fund presents the 2nd “LIVE” Veteran’s Benefit Concert on Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Central Auditorium, 545 Second Avenue, Monte Vista. The performance will feature the Monte Vista High School Band and the SLV Big Band. The concert is to honor our veterans and the proceeds go to the Faith Hinkley Veteran’s Memorial Park. Sponsors for the concert are the Kiwanis Club of Monte Vista, San Luis Valley Federal Bank, Rio Grande Savings and Loan Association and the Arizona Buckeye Valley DAR Chapter. There will be a drawing for prizes at intermission. The cost of the tickets is $10 per person and will be available by contacting Colette Skeff at 719-852-3435 or Debbie Garcia at 719-580-5655 ahead of the concert or they may be purchased the night of the concert.
