A Trail of Thoughts: I love my Corgi

I have to say that I am fond of dogs. I have a particular fondness for Corgis. They may be small, but they have big hearts! They can also be adorable.

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi was originally a cattle-herding breed that came from Pembroke shire, Wales. They are hearty little animals that can have big personalities. The breed also has a variety of coat patterns, but the Sable is my personal favorite. I have liked Corgis since I was a child and I wanted one for a long time. It wasn’t until I reached my college years that my wish finally came true.

I am now the proud owner of a Corgi whose name is Bo. I brought him home when he was just a tiny puppy in the spring of 2012. He was (and still is) one of the cutest things I have ever seen. He was also extremely easy to raise, because he hardly made a sound and didn’t chew a thing. Today, he is a spunky and fluffy seven- year old. He has brought me many smiles and laughs. Quite simply, he is the perfect little Corgi I always wanted. I am grateful for the smiles that he brings to me and hope for many more to come.
