A Trail of Thoughts: Simplicity

I am not a complicated person. I know what I like and I stay with it. I like consistency.

I also like simplicity. In the craziness of this world, keeping life simple is not a bad thing. I have found that sometimes things can get far too complicated. I think most find this to be true.

Sure, there are times and situations that require more complexity, but everyday living doesn’t have to be that way. Enjoying life can be as simple as getting out and going for a walk or just a good conversation. There are things that anyone can appreciate such as a spectacular view or even a smile.

Simplicity can also mean taking the time to help someone in need or be a listening ear. There are dozens of ways to get back to the basics of life. It just means taking the time to care and focus on the things that really matter.

I have found I need those times when I can unplug. I think everyone does at some point. Life was not meant to be insanity. As humans, we simply were not made for going non-stop. Life is too short to not take time to stop and enjoy the little and the special moments.
