Aaron William McKenzie, 41, may you rest in eternal peace, April 20, 2022.  He was an advocate for love and friendship with an amazing sense of humor.  He led a simple life, loved his family, wife, friends and his animals.  Aaron was a Colorado native, born in Hugo, Colorado on February 10, 1981.  He loved Alamosa and California, he enjoyed fishing and going to the mountains with his family or just hanging out with his friends.  He always appreciated the good things in his life.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Barbone (who cared for him for many years), his brother Don (Jennifer) McKenzie, his nephews and nieces, Don, Cheyenne, Shanelle, his step brother Nick Ramirez and all his family from Louisiana as well as numerous other extended family members.

Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, brothers, aunts, uncles and friends.
