Adams State drawing class studies downtown perspective

Adams State art students in professor Gene Schilling’s drawing class took advantage of beautiful June weather recently to sketch scenes in downtown Alamosa. Sitting in Milagros Coffeehouse, Brittany Wilson captures the busy scene with watercolors and brush.

Exploring the perspective from the top of her car, Daniela Duran sketches her subject matter in downtown Alamosa.

Using his talents with pastels, Morris Sowards recreates the blue sky, green tree, and downtown building.

Daniel Parsons draws the different textures before him on State Street in Alamosa.
