Adams State hosts San Luis Valley teachers for professional development

Seventy-five teachers from across the San Luis Valley participated in a Professional Learning Community workshop held January 19 at Adams State University. The teachers earned one-half graduate credit from Adams State for the workshop, which was presented by the SLV BOCES. Topics covered included news of and activities for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics); problem solving; building capacity for teamwork, collaboration, creativity and innovation; and web tools and simulators.
