Adams State will celebrate Earth Week

ASU Earth Week events include a presentation by Wetland Dynamics biologists Cary Aloia and Jenny Nehring, who will present the latest findings of the newly completed San Luis Valley Wetland and Wildlife Conservation Assessment on April 25.

ALAMOSA — The Adams State University EARTH Club will celebrate Earth Week with events including an Enviro Fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the Student Union Building; ASU Garden Prep Day, from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. (come as you can) Wednesday, April 24, at the ASU Garden; SLV Wetlands presentation at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in Porter Hall 130; and trail stewardship from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at the City Ranch Trails. EARTH Week will partner with the Rio Grande Farm Park to plant trees on April 20 and April 27.
