ALAMOSA — The 2023 Oktobrüfest, hosted by the Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce, will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Cole Park. The event will feature a variety of brewers and distillers from all over the San Luis Valley, and beyond, and will also have non-alcoholic offerings.

There is something for everyone at Oktobrufest, a family-friendly event with plenty of games, contests, and live music from Four Letter Word Band and of course, DJ E.

There will also be bouncy houses, the Salida Circus, Hall’s Way Escape Room, giant yard games, free face painting, and, of course, rounds of stein holding contests, a keg toss, and giant beer pong sponsored by the Young Professionals of Alamosa.

Want to make it extra fun? They will be hosting a costume contest with prizes for anyone that comes in traditional “Oktoberfest” attire. In fact, anyone who comes in costume is guaranteed a free swag item.

General admission is free with a small tasting package available as well as VIP Unlimited tasting bands. All packages come with a free keepsake acrylic tasting mug to use at the event and take home. Tasting wristbands are $10 and include the free mug and two free drink tokens; purchase additional drink tokens for $5 each. Unlimited VIP tasting wristbands are $50. Purchase tasting packages at the North end of the park.
