ALAMOSA — While June 14 was Flag Day on the calendar, the Alamosa Elks Lodge is planning a special celebration at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 18 for both Old Glory and the dads in our midst. The special event will feature veterans recounting the history of the flag as they carry each design into the lodge room to the tune of patriotic music.
