Twenty-two members of the Alamosa FFA recently attended the National Western Stock Show in Denver. Other highlights of the trip included visiting the State Capitol where Representative Donald Valdez took a moment to visit with the members, as pictured. Rep. Valdez is front left. The same evening the group attended an Avalanche game. A day at the Stock Show included a great rodeo performance and many educational experiences. A tour of the Coors Brewery ended the trip. Members earned the privilege of attending the trip through fundraising and FFA participation.
