As the Alamosa fire trucks pass by, firefighters pass the boot to collect funds for the Spring Fire victims during Alamosa’s Fourth of July parade on Wednesday. The “fill the boot” event, with all funds remaining local with the San Luis Valley Red Cross, raised nearly $3,500.
