ALAMOSA — The Mean Moose Gymnastics team swept the top three spots in every category in their home meet against Buena Vista.

Not only did the Moose earn a first place finish with a team score of 157.40, but that score was also a personal best on the season. Their next closest team performance was a 155.23 at their home meet on Sept. 29th.

Thursday afternoon, Junior Bailee Del Tondo finished first in every category for Alamosa to take the All Around with a score of 34.55. Senior Mary Streeter picked up three second places to take the second spot in the All Around. 

Alamosa will go to Mountain Range High School in Westminster, CO to compete in Regionals on Oct. 27th. Alamosa will start  with floor routines at 8:55 a.m. Alamosa will be taking nine gymnasts to Westminster as their varsity team. To qualify for state as a team Alamosa will need to either register the top score in their regional or be part of the next six best team scores regardless of regional meet..

As an individual the girls will need to be among the top three in their respective event at their regional or top nine regardless of regional meet.
