As a part of Teacher Appreciation Day the Alamosa Kiwanis Club thanks all teachers for their hard work and the difference they make. The club held a drawing at each of the Alamosa Public Schools with everyone included for teacher appreciation and these were the winners: K-2 Mollie Benton, 3-5 Charmaine Martinez, High school Benita Herrera, and Middle School Leslie Doyle.
