ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Family Recreation Center (AFRC) will re-open in a limited capacity for individualv workouts and some recreational activities beginning on Monday January 11, 2021.

Guests must check in at the front desk and reserve a time block on a first come first served basis, complete a temperature check upon entry to the facility and wear a mask properly while in the facility. Patrons may use the fitness rooms, the main gym, and the upper track for exercise. The locker rooms and showers will be open as well.

Room capacity is limited to 10 users per room. Sessions for drop-in basketball and pickleball will be announced shortly. Guests will be also be required to sign-out at the front desk upon completion of their workout and.

The AFRC’s hours of operation will be:

Monday-Thursday

6:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Friday

6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Sunday

12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

The Multi-Use Pavilion/Ice Rink is open. On-ice capacity is still limited to 10 skaters, masks will be required off-ice (in the lobby, restrooms, etc but can be removed on-ice), and reservations are required for some hockey activities; open and public skating are now on a first-come, first serve basis.
