ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Ashley Valdez, area manager of Community & Local Government Affairs for Xcel Energy in Southern Colorado, will make a presentation at the meeting on Monday September 25th at noon at Jaunito’s Restaurant, 1019 Sixth Street in Alamosa.

Valdez has worked at Xcel Energy since 2015, building positive relationships with local governments and partnering with local non-profit organizations for social community. Valdez is an active member of Pueblo Rotary 43. Valdez will present on the Colorado Energy Plan, developed by Xcel Energy and a diverse group of stakeholders, a plan to develop a significantly cleaner energy mix and reduce carbon emissions in Colorado. All are welcome to attend.
