ALAMOSA — The City of Alamosa is hosting a community meeting on August 14 at 5:30 p.m. at Alamosa Family Rec Center, 2222 Old Sanford Road, to review and receive comments from the public regarding the proposed budget for the Fiscal Year 2019. Citizens with an interest in the city’s budget are encouraged to attend the meeting to become familiar with the budget process and provide input.

This is a valuable opportunity for residents to become familiar with the budget process, learn about the revenue and expenditures in the major funds, review community Capital Improvement Projects, and express their opinions. Suggestions from the public are encouraged and will help the city become more familiar with community priorities and understand how to better serve residents.
