Albert F. Mondragon, 91

San Pablo resident Albert F. Mondragon, 91, passed away on March 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Albert was born on September 22, 1926 in San Pablo, Colorado to Francisco Mondragon and Leonarda Padia Mondragon. Albert was a farmer and rancher throughout his life, and was enlisted in the United States Marine Corp., and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Albert was also a member of the American Legion. His hobbies included hunting, riding horses, time spent on the ranch, and especially family activities and events.

Survivors include his children Jesse (Laura) Mondragon of Pueblo, Colorado, Janice (Joe) Medrano of Pueblo, Colorado, Julia Mondragon of San Pablo, Colorado, Alfred (Janene) Mondragon of San Pablo, Colorado, Barbara (Tim) Gama of Pueblo, Colorado, Eddie (Madeline) Mondragon of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Dwight Mondragon of San Pablo, Colorado, 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Loyola Mondragon of 51 years, his siblings Cecilia Roybal, Celina Trujillo, Luis Mondragon, Maclovia Sanchez, Rosendo Mondragon, Fares Mondragon, and Edwardo Taylor.

A Vigil Service with recitation of the rosary will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the Sangre De Cristo Church in San Luis. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. also at the same church. Interment will follow at the San Francisco Cemetery with full Military Honors.
