Almost 1,900 young men have been named All-Valley in those 43 years.
After a two-year hiatus, the All-San Luis Valley football team will be honored at a banquet on Dec. 7. All interested family and friends are invited to attend. However, meals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The All-Valley football team will be published this week. The second team offense and defense will be published in Wednesday’s edition, while the first team offense and defense will be published on Friday.
The major awards, the 6/8-Man Player of the Year, the 11-Man Player of the Year, the Overall Player of the Year, and the Coach of the Year will be announced at the banquet.
