Alyssa Kay Malouff

...

ALAMOSA — Once upon a time there was a little girl who thought that “snips and snails and puppy dog tails” belonged to girls too! Alyssa Kay Malouff was born on March 24, 1987 in Alamosa, to Nimon Malouff and Ada Boyce.

She has an older brother, Lane Malouff, and a younger sister, Delia Malouff. She quickly acquired the nickname of Lyssa. Alyssa was born with a heart of gold and a smile that could warm the room. She was a child who cared more about picking flowers with a new friend in the middle of a softball game than whether the ball was coming her way.

Alyssa graduated from Adams State University while working two jobs and taking care of her beloved son Daniel. Alyssa had many accomplishments during her short life. The two she was proudest of were her children, Danny and Lily.

Alyssa lost many people she was close to. She struggled with the loss of her nephew, Dominic; her aunt, Rochelle; and cousin, Dennin. They are now reunited. More than likely she is riding horses with Aunt Roch in the morning, listening to Dennin play his music in the afternoon and playing peek-a-boo with little Dom in the evenings.

Alyssa is survived by her son, Daniel Brandt; daughter, Lillan Cordova; mother, Ada Boyce (Robert Davis); father, Nimon Malouff (Becky Mondragon); brother, Lane Malouff; sister, Delia Malouff; grandmother, Dorothy VanTreese; godparents, Bryan and Brenda Malouff; nephews, Jirimiah Malouff, Jackson Malouff and niece, Analice Medina; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and beautiful friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill Malouff and June Gibson; aunt, Rochelle Boyce; cousin, Dennin Vandeleur; and nephew, Dominic Hildago Jr.
