Andrea Nicole Compton, daughter of Francine Johnson-Compton, adopted by Art and Kelly Garcia, left us on Wednesday, July 20th.

Anyone that knew Andrea, knew she was a fun, smart, animal loving, caring, bright light of an individual that enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Andrea enjoyed working at Sonic Drive Inn in Alamosa where she made many friends. When she was not working she was spending time with her animals, friends and family.

Andrea loved children, although not having any of her own, it was always a dream of hers to one day be a mother. She was however given the chance to be a mother to her best friend (Dustin Meek)’s three daughters. All of whom loved her dearly and called her mom and she loved, in return, endlessly.  She spoiled her two dogs and her cat as if they were her children as well.

Andrea is survived by her parents Art and Kelly Garcia, her mother Francine Johnson-Compton her Siblings; Eric Johnson, Arturo Garcia Jr (Taylor Woolsey), Joshua Dunn (Shelby Keldsen), and Dyllon Garcia (Nichole Dordan), Brittany Johnson, Katherine, Maddison Tollison, and Roseanne Garcia (Josh Phillips). She was proceeded in Death by her Grandfather Frank Pierce.

Services will be held at  Romero Funeral Home in Alamosa,  Friday July 29^th  from 12pm - 3pm. A celebration of life BBQ will follow at 4pm at Andrea’s family home. (6711 County rd. 106.75s Alamosa, CO 81101).
