DENVER — Former Alamosa resident Anjelica Whatley, 30 years of age, passed away on November 15^th, 2022 in Aurora CO. She was born on January 14, 1992.

Her parents are Porfirio Whatley Jr. and Wanda Whatley (Maestas). She has two sons, Rey Diaz (11) and Jaxson Kline (7). Her siblings are Marissa (BJ) Jaramillo, Miguel Ponce, Yvette Whatley, Porfirio Whatley III, and Georgeanne Leyba. She also has multiple nieces and nephews.

Anjelica was received by grandparents Porfirio and Mary Whatley, Willie and Annette Maestas, as well as great-grandmother Florinda Maestas. All of which she loved so very much.

She was a free spirit who enjoyed arrowhead hunting, baking, journaling, painting, and being outdoors, especially in the mountains. Her most cherished parts of life were her two sons who she always held near and dear to her heart.

Anjelica will be remembered for the laughter she brought to others with her wild and free spirit. We will miss her dearly and her memories will forever bring joy to our hearts.

Her mind is at ease, her soul is at rest.
