ALAMOSA — A dark history continues for the Moose. Bayfield extended their win streak over Alamosa to 8 games with a commanding 28-10 victory over the host Mean Moose on Friday night.

Alamosa (3-2) went down by two possessions early to their league rival. By the fourth quarter, a 14-3 deficit grew to a 28-3 deficit. Time not on their side Alamosa would find the end zone, but by then it was too late. Friday night Alamosa watched their hot start to the season cool with their second straight loss to a lower-ranked opponent by at least a three-possession margin.

Alamosa can right the ship on Friday when they go on the road for a league contest against Montezuma-Cortez (1-4).
