VALLEY– Applications are now being accepted for upcoming vacancies on Judicial District Nominating Commissions throughout Colorado.

Judicial nominating commissioners are volunteers and serve six-year terms interviewing applicants for judicial vacancies and nominating candidates to the governor.

The 12th Judicial District (Saguache, Mineral, Rio Grande, Alamosa, Conejos, & Costilla Counties) will have three vacancies total — two attorney vacancies and one non-attorney vacancy.

Applications will be accepted through Oct. 15. Applications may be made only online at the State of Colorado Boards and Commissions Application page at https://www.tfaforms.com/290254.
