Area burglars arrested

CONEJOS COUNTY — Two individuals have been arrested on multiple burglary and theft charges related to a string of incidents in Conejos County and Archuleta County, the Conejos County Sheriff’s Office announced on Thursday.

Wanted on multiple charges, Timothy L. Luttrull, 49, of Burfordville, Missouri and Katherine M. Henson, 37, of Jackson, Missouri turned themselves in to the Conejos County Sheriff’s Office on outstanding arrest warrants early morning on Tuesday, November 21, the sheriff’s office announced on November 30.

Luttrull is being held on a $25,000 bond at the Conejos County Sheriff’s Office on charges of felony burglary of a dwelling and felony theft of $20,000-$100,000 related to a burglary that occurred on top of Cumbres/La Manga Pass the beginning of August.

He is also being held on a $50,000 bond on felony burglary of a dwelling, theft-$2,000-$5,000, and criminal mischief charges related to a burglary of a residence around Massey Creek Road in Antonito sometime between July 30 and August 5.

Henson is being held on a $25,000 bond at the Conejos County Sheriff’s Office on charges of felony burglary of a dwelling and felony theft of $20,000-$100,000 also related to the Cumbres/La Manga Pass burglary this summer.

She is also being held on a $50,000 bond for felony burglary of a dwelling, theft-$2,000-$5,000, and criminal mischief charges for the Massey Creek Road burglary this summer.

Stemming from the burglary ring within southern Conejos County the Pagosa Springs Police Department and the Conejos County Sheriff’s Office have been working together and as a result, both Luttrull and Henson have to answer to criminal charges in Archuleta County as well.

Pagosa Springs Police Department charged Luttrull with the felony theft-$20,000-$100,000 and felony weapon possession by a previous offender with bond set at $10,000.

Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office charged Luttrull with misdemeanor resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer with bond set at $500.

Pagosa Springs Police Department charged Henson with felony theft-$20,000-$100,000 and felony weapon possession by a previous offender with bond set at $10,000.
