ALAMOSA– Enjoy a night of food, drinks and captivating art from around the San Luis Valley at the fourth annual Art Gala, sponsored by the Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce, Friday, Feb. 15 at the National Guard Armory here.

The “black tie affair” kicks off with champagne and the “red carpet” arrival at 6 p.m. with music by the Lipke-Johnson classical duo from Adams State followed by an artist meet and greet, drinks and hors d’oeuvres provided by Locavores at 6:30. The live art auction begins at 7:30 p.m. with dancing to follow. Coffee and “cake pops” courtesy of Alamosa Starbucks will be available.

Money raised will go towards bringing a bigger art presence to the Valley, community events, supporting local businesses and new this year to support local artist Huberto Maestas who lost his studio to fire earlier this year.
