Artists sought for Alamosa Artwalk

ALAMOSA — The 15th Annual Alamosa Artwalk will be a festive event scheduled June 2 and 3. San Luis Valley resident artists working in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional mediums are invited.

This 2-day event is a fun and easy opportunity for showing artists’ work and even demonstrating their working technique to everyone who will be downtown enjoying the artwork, performances, music and popular tastes of the Valley.

Many Valley residents and summer visitors will already be in town that weekend for the Alamosa Artscape, which will feature the unveiling of 17 sculptures in the downtown area.

Registration forms are available by sending an email request to [email protected] or by stopping by the chamber office, Treasure Alley or Wild Roses.

Entry fee of $20 is due with registration form no later than May 8 at the Alamosa Chamber of Commerce, 610 State Ave. in Alamosa. This event is exclusively for San Luis Valley artists.
