Aspen Ranee Pauley was born in Alamosa CO on 5/12/99 to Brian and Lynda Pauley.

She was the light of her family’s life.  She went home to her heavenly father on 7/12/17.
Aspen was a tall, sweet, beautiful, angel who touched many lives.  Her sweet kind personality was an inspiration to everyone.  She had a talent for crafting and was very creative.  She enjoyed camping, hiking, hunting, and spending time in the outdoors with her family.  She was an amazing sister, cousin, niece, daughter and friend.  Graduating with honors from high school and enrolling at Adams State University were two of her biggest accomplishments.  Her wonderful smile and shy presence will forever impact others.  

She is survived by her parents Brian and Lynda Pauley.  Sisters Erika and Emma Pauley.  Grandparents Mike Hollabaugh and Jeff Horton.  Aunts and Uncles Janet and Paul Vervalin, Nathen and Mandi Hollabaugh, Rachelle and Ron Mriglot, Robyn and Brandon Shawcroft, Rocky and Janna Horton, David and Crystal Horton, Candice and Chris Archuleta, and Rebecca Malchef.  Cousins Anna, Jacob, Joseph, Sarah, and Henry Mriglot, Bryce and Brent Vervalin, Addie and Collette Hollabaugh, Porter, Riley, Chet and Dalley Shawcroft, Konner, Hunter, Taylor, and Oliver Horton, Aubry, Addison, and David Horton Jr., Gabriel, Isabell, and Wyatt Archuleta, and Lena Mortenson.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Linda Hollabaugh and Ray Pauley.  Aunt Brenda Pauley and Uncle Jerry Pauley.

A memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Monte Vista on July 22nd of 2017 at 10 a.m.
