ALAMOSA — The Adams State University annual Donor and Student Recognition Dinner provides an opportunity for the institution to show appreciation for the many who help make dreams of a college education a reality. Students who receive scholarships dine with many who have established Adams State scholarships.

Emily Johnson, a double major in music business and flute performance with a double minor in percussion performance and business administration, will graduate in December 2018. She spoke on behalf of all scholarship recipients. She concluded her remarks with heartfelt appreciation: “Thank you for allowing me to share my story with you. To share why I love Adams and why I am so grateful for you and your donations for giving me the opportunity to stay here and create these lifelong memories. And thank you for supporting the incredible talents and minds in this room.”
