Beatrice Mae Garrison was born in Hettinger, ND to Donald and Leah Wagner on May 2, 1947 and passed away peacefully, losing her battle with cancer on February 23, 2017 in Tucson, AZ. She spent her early years on the Wagner ranch, attended a one room school house in Ralph, SD, St. Mary’s school in New England, ND, and college in Denver, CO.

Bea was an amazing grandmother and what she cherished most was spending time with her grandchildren. Riley, her grandson, looked forward to the numerous trips to Granny’s house, spending time swimming and baking.

She loved bowling and had an affinity for taking your money playing poker. Bea spent the majority of her years riding horses, an avid barrel racer and was involved in Quarter horse racing. She spent her time traveling with her husband and kids to innumerable weekends throughout the US participating in roping’s and rodeos.

Bea is survived by her children Brandon (Rachael) Garrison of Burlington, WA and Donielle (Eric) Van Gieson of Alamosa, CO. Her siblings Phyliss (Bob) Werk of Herman, MN, Karen (Jim) Wagner-Doolittle of Belle Fourche, SD and Dean (Myrna) Wagner of Ralph, SD. Grandkids Jacob Lancaster (Brandon and Rachael), Riley Van Gieson, Kylie, Peyton, and Paige Garrison and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Adrian (Gene) Garrison and parents.

We will be honoring her with a Celebration of Life at Tucson Meadows March 12, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Services will be this summer in South Dakota.
