ALAMOSA — A benefit dinner and dance for Jimmy Martinez, who is battling throat cancer, will be held from 2:30-11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the National Guard building, 1877 Old Sanford Road, Alamosa. Tickets are $20 for couples, $15, single, $7 kids ages 5-12, and free for kids under age 5. Pre-sale tickets are $15, couples; $10, singles; $5, kids ages 5-12; and free for kids under age 5.
