Beverly passed away at the SLV Regional Medical Center Hospital surrounded by family and friends on Friday, November 10th, 2017. Beverly was born in Denver, Colorado April 11, 1932. She moved to Alamosa in 1968 with her husband Maurie, and daughter Lee. Beverly co-owned Griffitts Jewelers with her husband. After his death in 1999 she was involved with the Downtown Merchants Association for a few years. Later she volunteered at the Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center, directing visitors traveling through Alamosa and the San Luis Valley. Beverly was also an active member of Eastern Star and P.E.O.

She is survived by her daughter Lee, and her sister Sharon Shultz.

Friends, and others whose lives Beverly touched are invited to the Episcopal Church in Alamosa, 607 4th St, for a memorial and life celebration this Saturday December 9th at 10:00 – 11:00 am.
