Maverick James Torres was born on Sept. 14, 2019 at San Luis Valley Health to Lucus and Rachael Torres of Monte Vista. He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches.

Maverick is welcomed home by sister Karsynn. Maternal grandparents are Joya and the late Michale Guittierrez. The paternal grandparents are Andrew and Luanne Torres.

Great grandparents are Martha Salazar and Gilbert and Loyola Medina.
