LA JARA — Conejos County Ambulance is hosting “Be the Match” Bone Marrow Donor Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Conejos County Public Health, 19203 US Hwy 285, La Jara. Be the Match Bone Marrow Drive is designed to find donors for sick children (or adults) that are in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant. This event is a simple screening - a painless swab of the cheek and testing to see if you match anyone who currently needs a transplant. Must be 18+ to be a volunteer donor.
