VALLEY — Karen Bonnie, a well-known western artist, will be presenting a drawing and painting workshop focusing on intermediate and advanced drawing, painting and design skills.

Students should be proficient in their medium, which may include oil, acrylic, watercolor or pastels.

Concepts covered will be design principals including distance, flow, masses, values, color theory, point of focus, gesture drawing and simplification and painting with feeling.

The workshop will be August 21 through August 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $300 for the full four days.
