ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Marlena Antonucci of Narrow Gauge Books will be the speaker on Monday, July 23, at noon at Juanito’s Restaurant, 1019 6th Street.   

Narrow Gauge Books is a community-powered book cooperative, a place to share stories and celebrate creative expression. They are working to bring a bookstore back to downtown Alamosa, by building a co-op that will create a community-run space. For more than 40 years, Narrow Gauge Newsstand served the San Luis Valley from its historic brick building in downtown Alamosa. The store closed in March.
