FORT GARLAND — On Wednesday, August 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mess Hall at Fort Garland Museum & Cultural Center, Dennis Moore will give a Buffalo Soldier Historical Snapshot presentation.   

Moore is retired from 20 years active duty in the Air Force and has amassed a considerable library on the Buffalo Soldiers. He is a member of the Buffalo Soldiers Memorial Committee, which was established in 2016 and was instrumental in the development of The Buffalo Soldiers Memorial in Colorado Springs and the Buffalo Soldiers Memorial Highway. Members of the Committee and of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club will also be in attendance.
