ALAMOSA — John and Elsie Buhr of Alamosa will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on December 26, 2018. 

They were married in Alamosa, Colorado at the Sacred Heart Church in 1958. 

John and Elsie were blessed with four children, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

The family spent the first part of the marriage in the Air Force, until John retired in 1975 at which time they settled in their hometown of Alamosa.
