ALAMOSA– Candidates for elected county offices in Alamosa County will be featured at a candidate forum Tuesday, May 22 from 6-9 p.m. at Society Hall, corner of Fourth and Ross. Note the start time has been changed from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sponsored by the Valley Courier and Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce, the forum will give candidates an opportunity to introduce themselves about a week before Primary election ballots are scheduled to be mailed to voters. Several offices have contests in both Republican and Democratic parties, including county treasurer to replace retiring Lois Widhalm. Introductions will be followed by audience questions.
