San Antonio resident Carlo “Angelo” Garcia, 45, passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2021 at his home. Angelo was born on September 9, 1975 in La Jara, Colorado, the beloved son of Alfredo P. Garcia and Lucy Vasquez Garcia. Angelo was the best father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, he was a friend to all and would always help anyone in need. Angelo absolutely loved riding his Harley, he would take long trips and attend bike runs all over the valley. When he wasn’t disappearing on his Harley rides he liked to go fishing, be in the mountains and outdoors and spend time with his family and friends.

Angelo will live on through his sons Angelo Garcia Jr., Gabriel Garcia both of Grand Junction, CO; sisters Pauline (Ernest) Martinez of San Antonio, CO; Veronica (Clarence) Barela of Antonito, CO; brothers Dean (Felicia) Garcia, Patrick Garcia, Mark Garcia and Jessie Garcia all of San Rafael, CO and his sweetheart Rubena Atencio. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Angelo was preceded in death by his parents Alfredo and Lucy Garcia, nephew Jonathan Barela, brother Octaviano Garcia and sister Donna Mae Garcia.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 1-5 at the Romero Funeral Chapel in Antonito.
