ALAMOSA — The Colorado Department of Transportation’s 12th Annual Health Fair “Get on the Highway to Good Health” is scheduled for Wednesday, October 31st from 8-11 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1112 8th Street, in Alamosa.  Everyone is welcome. Flu shots and bloodwork will be available at little or no cost (depending upon insurance provider).

Lots of educational information will be available on a variety of wellness topics as well as various free screenings, i.e. vision, skin cancer, diabetes, height and weight and BMI.  Community partners include Knights of Columbus, Colorado State Patrol, ROMP Clinic, Credit Union of Colorado, PERA, SLV Health, Alamosa County Public Health Nursing Staff, and Colorado Rural Legal Services.
