LA JARA — On Tuesday, December 11th Jesse Funk, a “Top Youth Speaker” presented to both Centauri High School and Centauri Middle School Students.

Using both song and words Jesse Funk promoted tools that teens can use to promote positive thinking and leadership.

1.  Leaders choose to believe in themselves.

2.  Leaders choose to out smart the bullies.

3.  Leaders choose to set healthy boundaries.

4.  Leaders choose to forgive and move forward.

This presentation was sponsored by the Centauri FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America).  Courtney Hamilton, a Centauri Sophomore student, who is working on a National Programs Project through FCCLA contacted “Top Youth Speakers” and arranged for Jesse Funk to speak.
