Eligibility for grants extends to all pre-K through 12th grade teachers in public, private and/or charter schools located in a CenturyLink residential service area. Applicants have the chance to receive grants of up to $5,000 to implement innovative technology solutions in their classrooms.

“CenturyLink understands how important it is to have technology in today’s classrooms,” said Sondra Smith, CenturyLink corporate social responsibility director. “More than ever, our students need to be exposed to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts, and our teachers need the right tools to be able to reach them. We are proud to offer these grants to help deserving teachers enhance students’ learning experience in the classroom.”

Launched in 2008, the CenturyLink Teachers and Technology program has awarded nearly $11 million in grants.
