CenturyLink offers technology grants to Colorado teachers

VALLEY – CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) believes that connecting teachers and students to creative ways to use technology can expand their opportunities for education and improve the lives of their communities. That’s why the company opened the 2018 application process for The CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation Teachers and Technology grant program.

The program allows pre-K through 12th grade teachers in public, private and charter schools in Colorado to apply for a grant of up to $5,000 to implement innovative technology solutions in their classrooms. To apply, teachers can visit www.centurylink.com/teachersandtechnology. The deadline for applications is 10 p.m. Mountain Time on January 12, 2018.

Launched in 2008, the Teachers and Technology program has awarded more than $7 million in grants to bring technology to classrooms across the country. The Foundation will award $1.4 million in grants in 2017-2018.

Grant winners will be announced from April 1 - May 15, 2018.
