“It’s not your old Purple Pig,” said owner Jason Trujillo about his new wood-fired pizzeria in downtown Alamosa. He and his staff were joined by Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce members and city officials for a ribbon cutting this week to welcome him as a new chamber member. The Pig does still feature a full-service bar, but has been completed remodeled and offers a large menu that does include wood-fired pizzas, calzones, etc. “It’s definitely a family atmosphere,” Trujillo said.
