With all regional qualifiers in the books, the next big step for cross-country will be the state finals. This weekend at the Norris-Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs runners from all over the valley will be competing in the CHSAA Cross-Country State Championship. Less than a week away CHSAA has released the official list of state championship qualifiers. Valley Schools Alamosa, Centauri, Del Norte, Monte Vista, and Sargent will be represented. Alamosa qualified both boys and girls teams while Centauri and Sargent qualified one team each – their girls and boys respectively.
