Cipriano “Cip” Mark Carrillo, 66

MONTE VISTA—Cipriano “Cip” Mark Carrillo 66 of Monte Vista, passed away surrounded by his loving family.  

Cip was born in Espanola, N.M. on Sept. 26, 1951, to George and Marie (Gonzales) Carrillo. He spent his childhood in Monte Vista.

He met and married the love of his life while living in southern California, Nancy Belinda Camou. They moved back to Monte Vista to raise their children away from the city. He retired as a transportation maintenance supervisor from the Colorado Department of Transportation in 2011.  

Cip is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Nancy; his daughters, Catherine (Ronald) Riggenbach, Cassandra Coley, Deanna (Greg) Guymon; one son Cipriano Jr.; grandchildren, Kris (Ali) Martinez, Kendall Vance, Kaden Vance, Caleb Riggenbach, Sydney Riggenbach, Tylor (Brandie) Coley, Shawn Coley, Jori Coley, Timothy Guymon, Ethan Guymon, Lucas Guymon, Camalya Carrillo and Cipriano Carrillo III. He is also survived by his sister Barbara (Steve) Sanchez.  

Cip is preceded in death by his parents.  

A celebration of life will be held on Nov. 30, 2017, 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter-Day Saints, 1521 Hillcrest Dr., Montrose, Colo.
