ALAMOSA — Alamosa city council meets at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at city hall, 300 Hunt Ave., with agenda items including: tourism and museum updates; Early Iron presentation; Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control Live Fire Training Facility; ordinance amending city codes to replace outdated gender language, recognize right to breast feed and reallocate responsibilities for court and utility functions; and resolution opposing Amendment 74. A 6:30 p.m. work session is scheduled for a 12th Street update.
