Alamosa resident Claudine Jim, 51, passed away August 20, 2017 at her home in Alamosa with her loving daughter by her side. Claudine was welcomed into the world on July 16, 1966, the beloved daughter of Bernard Jim and Rosie Price. She worked as a manager for many years for J.C. Penny as well as various restaurants. Claudine was an amazing and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who enjoyed reading, playing softball and spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren, family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter Kendra (Henry) Corral of Alamosa, CO; son Justin BuBois of Alamosa, CO; grandchildren Dante Gonzales Jr., Carmen Gonzales, Damian Corral, Jayda DuBois all of Alamosa, CO; ex-husband Jeff DuBois of Alamosa, CO; sister Bernadine Laner of Towac, CO; Brother Kirk Porambo of Towac,CO; step-parents Darrel (Connie) Loyd of Midland, TX. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Claudine was preceded in death by her parents Bernard Jim, Rosie Price and two brothers.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 1-5 at the Romero Funeral Chapel in Alamosa and cremation will follow. Services will be held at a later date. The care of arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
