Cleon Myles “Pig” Molder

Cleon Myles “Pig” Molder, 84, went to join his Heavenly Father at 8:13 am on September 6, 2018 at Melissa Memorial Hospital in Holyoke, Colorado, surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Barbra W. (Harrison) Molder. They shared 65 years, 6 months and 1 day of a beautiful and blessed marriage.

Born in Athens, Texas on August 12, 1934. He was the son of Leonard Harrison Molder and Rita Myrle (Tomlinson) Molder of Granbury, Texas. He graduated from Godly High School in Godly, Texas in 1951. Then on February 5th 1953 he married his beautiful wife. He was a “Jack of all trades and a master of none.” For many years he was a mechanic for cars and Semi trucks, water well driller, Semi Truck Driver over the road for 15 years, Semi Truck Driver Instructor, CDL Tester, Seismographer, Explosive Specialist, Mill worker at one of the Creede Colorado mines, and doing missionary work. One of his greatest accomplishments was answering the call of God to start a Baptist Church in Creede, Colorado and being licensed to preach the gospel.

He was a member of Creede Baptist Church of Creede, Colorado. He was a resident of the Regent Park Nursing and Rehabilitation & Carriage House in Holyoke, Colorado. He Enjoyed big game hunting, fishing, camping, listening to classical country music and gospel music, and enjoyed spending time with is children, grandchildren, and great-gandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his wisdom, kind words, telling jokes, his strength, being a protector, counselor, advisor, and a wonderful example of a Christian and Son of God, as will as his stubborn Native Indian attitude and blood that made him move everywhere.

He is survived by his wife Barbra W. Molder, children Rhonda G. (Molder) Morgan and Ricky D. Molder. Grandchildren are Felicia G. (Lisa) Molder, Clenard H. (Bud) Molder, Terry L. Morgan, Johnathan E.(Jess) Morgan, Abigail L. Molder, and Theodore C. Molder. Great grandchildren are Dakota L. Molder (Daniel) King, Stephanie R. Molder (Jarmey) Gulley, Meaghan K. Molder-Mahannah, Tyler M. Molder, Destany M. Molder, and Cheyenne G. Molder. Great-Great grandchildren are Marissa A.M. Molder, Mark A.G. Molder, Nolan M. gulley, and another one on the way, with many generations of nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as brother and sister in-laws.

He predeceased in death by both his parents Leonard and Rita Molder, his brother V. Byran Molder, and his sister Juanita E. (Molder) Armstrong, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousin, and in-laws.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am in Creede Baptist Church in Creede, Co on September 14, 2018 with a interment to follow to Creede Cemetary. The viewing will be held at the Creede Baptist Church at 10:00 am till services begin.
